POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Do you want to contribute to the future of European space infrastructure? As an Experienced Integration Engineer within CGI’s Space unit, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and maintaining mission-critical on-premises systems for some of Europe’s flagship programs, including Galileo, the global satellite navigation system.

Your expertise in networking, virtualization, and on-premises server management will ensure smooth system operation and strong alignment with both customer and project requirements.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integrate, configure, and maintain networking infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring security and performance.
• Manage and administer on-premises servers and virtualized platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments in on-premises setups.
• Perform system troubleshooting and root cause analysis, providing rapid solutions to incidents and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and DevOps teams to support integration and deployment activities.
• Contribute to the design and documentation of integration processes, ensuring compliance with industry and project standards.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Support security and compliance audits, applying best practices for secure systems integration.
