Description

EXPERIENCED KITCHEN INSTALLER

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Kitchen Installer to join our growing team, working on residential, retail, and light commercial projects across Sussex and Surrey. As well as fitting kitchens directly for our own customers, you’ll also be completing installation projects on behalf of well-known high-street kitchen retailers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen fitting, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. This is a customer-facing role, so you’ll need to be approachable, friendly, and professional.
At Woodson Kitchen Contractors, we’re more than just a workplace, we’re a family. We look after each other, celebrate successes, and take pride in the work we do.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in kitchen fitting (minimum 2–3 years)
  • Strong carpentry and joinery skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Great communication with customers and colleagues
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own professional tools

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Additional trade qualifications (e.g. plumbing, electrics, tiling)
  • CSCS Card for site work
  • Experience with high-end kitchen installations
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Knowledge of local building and installation regulations
Responsibilities
  • Fit and install kitchens to a high standard, including units, worktops, appliances, and fixtures
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and plans
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure all installations meet health & safety and industry standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any fitting issues effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation on site
