REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ months of food service or restaurant experience (fast food, quick-service, or casual dining)
• Food Handler Certification (not required but a plus)
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, positive attitude
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (citizen, PR, or valid work permit)

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced food service worker to join our team as a Kitchen Helper / Cashier. This is a part-time or temporary role (15–30 hrs/week) with potential for more. You’ll be supporting our team during busy periods while also being comfortable working independently during quieter times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with preparing and portioning menu items
• Operate fryer and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Take customer orders and process payments (POS/cash)
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area
• Help with opening and closing duties
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently and manage the counter alone during slower periods
