Responsibilities
  • Culinary Execution: Independently execute preparation and cooking for your station according to Kyatcha’s recipes and standards, ensuring each dish is of outstanding taste and presentation.
  • Mise en Place: Manage and organize your station’s mise en place every day – from slicing fish to prepping sauces – so that service runs smoothly and nothing is ever missing during rush periods.
  • High-Quality Cooking: Cook and plate dishes with speed and accuracy, maintaining consistency in flavor, portioning, and elegant presentation even during peak service.
  • Efficiency & Speed: Work efficiently to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced fine dining environment, delivering plates on time without compromising quality.
  • Cleanliness & Safety: Keep your workspace impeccably clean and adhere to all hygiene and food safety guidelines (HACCP). Ensure equipment and tools are sanitized and well-maintained throughout your shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and fellow cooks to ensure timing and quality are aligned. Assist teammates as needed and communicate effectively to maintain a cohesive kitchen flow.
