Our quality control is supported by participation in programs such as the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s (AIHA) Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) rounds and the Quality Control program of the Institut de Recherche Robert-Sauvé en Santé et en Sécurité du travail (IRSST) for regulated fibers in air samples.
Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking qualified analysts to join our experienced and talented team of environmental professionals.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • University degree in Science (Chemistry or Microbiology preferred).
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and method validation is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks with strong attention to detail.

COMPÉTENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :

  • Diplôme universitaire en sciences (chimie ou microbiologie préférées).
  • Connaissance des techniques analytiques et de la validation des méthodes, un atout.
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets et tâches simultanément et efficacement.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais.
  • Maîtrise des programmes MS Office.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full analytical testing of assigned materials or products within standard times and under minimum guidance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use polarized light microscopy (PLM) for asbestos analysis.
  • Document and report results.
  • Conduct laboratory investigations as required.
  • Provide technical support to other analysts and troubleshoot complex issues related to laboratory analysis and instrumentation.
  • Train junior analysts as required.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
