NB Mowing is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Gardening and Labouring team member
Job Description:
The position will require you to attend to job runs each day to ensure customers on the rotating schedule are serviced on time or as soon as possible
Your primary duties will include:
- Operating lawn mowers and other equipment to mow lawns to the standard of the business and within budgeted time allocated for each job. Sticking to instructions and ensuring quirks of each lawn are attended to as well as deliberate application of weed control substances if required
- Assisting with basic garden maintenance, including weeding and hedge trimming and utilizing any tools required to perform tasks
- Performing Landscaping work when required
- Applying proper techniques
- Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment
- Embracing on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge in gardening
- Driving the company supplied vehicle to job sites to perform tasks as required without supervision while maintaining set standards
- Other basic ad hoc tasks as requested
Requirements:
- Previous Gardening or Labouring Experience preferred but not required
- Physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions and ability to maintain pace throughout the whole day
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with and without supervision
- Practices anti-malicious compliance and expresses concerns regarding set tasks if the outcome desired cannot be maintained with set instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A Drivers License. Red, Green or Ideally Full

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

• Lawn Mowing: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full or P’s Driver Licence (Required)
