OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will also work with various tools and equipment, requiring a solid understanding of schematics and technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the mechanical field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems is a plus; experience in welding is also advantageous.
  • Knowledge of boiler systems and their maintenance requirements is preferred.
  • Experience in appliance repair or construction can be beneficial for this role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heaters, and ventilation systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their heating and cooling needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Work with plumbing systems as needed to ensure proper integration with HVAC units.
  • Utilize brazing and soldering skills for repairs or modifications of HVAC components when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
  • Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
