The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Leave of AbsenceAdministrator to join our team in Mesa, AZ.
The Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administrator. This role involves managing certain aspects of the relationship with the third-party administrator, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the leave process. The Leave of Absence Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient leave management process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

3+ years of experience in leave administration or a related HR rol

  • eExperience with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including FMLA and AD
  • AExperience communicating with and the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organizatio
  • nExperience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmen

Responsibilities

Oversee the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administrato

  • rWorks with the third-party administrator, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution of issues, and adherence to service level agreement
  • sEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable law
  • sCollaborate with the third-party administrator to review and evaluate leave requests, including medical certifications and other supporting documentation, to determine eligibility and appropriateness of leav
  • eCoordinate and communicate leave approvals, denials, and extensions to employees and managers in a timely manner when escalate
  • dEnsure third-party administrator is providing proper guidance and support to employees and managers on leave-related policies, procedures, and benefit
  • sCollaborate with HR Business Partners, Benefits team, Payroll, Compensation Policy, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of leave management processe
  • sConduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with leave policies and procedure
  • sStay informed about changes in leave laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholder
