Job Title: Legal Secretary - Experience in this role essential - must have experience working in a law firm.
Monday - Friday with the added benefit of flexi-time.
8.30am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Audio typing / typing transcripts / prepare and draft legal documents
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with case management and trial preparation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary/PA
- Proficient in legal terminology and procedures
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and legal software applications (specifically Proclaim)
- Excellent typing and transcription skills (audio)
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
