Winnipeg, I am looking for one more culinary rockstar to join our team. Specifically afternoon/night shift part time to full time.
Experience or formal culinary training is necessary, and a Manitoba Food Handlers Certificate is a must.
What do I mean by team? I mean someone that can run with others, keeping their ego low and production high. Someone who works as a player with the team to accomplish excellent plating and flavour profiles. Someone who cares and looks out for their teammates. Now that all sounds cliché, I know. I am looking for one more person, who brings the professionalism, the cleanliness, the speed, but also takes the time to curate these dishes well to of course please our large foodie crowd of customers. Our plates are often the shot by the foodie paparazzi and they are always red carpet ready.
Why work for me? I offer very competitive pay, real pay, and that comes with a discussion of what you need, your experience, and whether you can actually bring the juice or not. My starting wage is $16.50 per hour, but am willing to discuss based on what you bring to the table! Ask any of my staff – I am not a cheap employer, I pay well. I don’t touch tips, I never short pay your payroll, and I believe in you being successful, because that’s the only way the team can be successful. I also believe in supporting your ambitions, creativity and your family.

A bit about Four Crowns culinary team: We’ve been producing approachable yet well curated breakfast, lunch, dinner and late might menus for over 7 years now. Our food is 95% homemade, and braggable – just look at our reviews. Homemade soups, chicken tenders, steak bites, burgers, chicken burgers, wraps, salads, ribs, fish and chips, skinny fries, all from scratch. Our team plays well together, and fights a winning war every lunch and dinner rush – it’s amazing to watch. We work hard and play hard together. Staff get togethers are a blast, photoshoots, charity runs, you name it. We have a solid community here with both customers and staff who protect this family.
A clean kitchen is of the utmost importance. Keep that sani bucket full, and cleaning towels close by. I always believe we should be able to proudly show off our space like an open concept kitchen. Of course, after a crazy dinner rush it’s not always easy, but everyone pitches in to keep the environment TV show ready.
