JOB OPPORTUNITY: EXPERIENCED MACHINE OPERATOR – AMADA & SALVAGNINI

Location: Bude, Cornwall
Hours: 37 to 42 hours per week, permanent. Day Shift or Evening Shift.
Salary: £12.38 to £16.38 depending on skills and experience + benefits. Shift Allowance of 17.5% (if applicable).

THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC press brakes and automated sheet metal processing equipment, including Amada and Salvagnini machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and operate Amada press brakes and/or Salvagnini panel bending and punching machines

• Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Monitor machine output to ensure high-quality, precise parts
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times
