The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Material Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our team based in Tukwila, WA.
As a part of the Finance Shared Service’s Estimating Organization, you will get opportunities to support several platforms. While this role will primarily support the P-8A Poseidon program, there will be the opportunity to support other Puget Sound based programs such as KC-46 and E-7.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Experience working with competing priorities
  • Experience do you have collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Develops estimates, and Priced Bill of Material (PBOM) estimates from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program
  • Develops, prepares and validates material estimates using multiple sources of data, and applies adjustments and normalization using thoughtful data analysis
  • Performs analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to include engineering, contracts, program management, and supplier management
  • Presents material estimates to supply chain and program leadership
