Peter’s Garage is a trusted and fast-growing independent workshop known for quality repairs, reliable service, and a strong customer base. We work with a wide range of vehicles, carrying out everything from routine servicing and diagnostics to major mechanical repairs.
We are now looking to expand our team with skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanics who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic / automotive technician.
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
• MOT tester qualification an advantage, but not essential.

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
• Replace and repair components including tyres, brakes, suspension, exhausts, and engines.
• Perform MOT preparation and rectification (if qualified).
• Complete repair work to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate job cards, records, and parts usage.
• Work effectively as part of a team while being able to manage jobs independently.
