JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Mould Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mould making and tooling.
You will be required to produce plaster moulds in line with stock requirements for the slip casting, flat making and jollying operations at our Lichfield Street and Berry Hill locations.
This is a part time position for 24 hours per week over 3 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain items cases (both rubber and plaster)
• Prepare mix and blend plaster and water to the required ratio
• Finish moulds (fettling, turning, banding) and allow to dry in dryer
• Stack finished moulds into warehouse / storage racking
• Mould stock taking
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Troubleshooting of mould issues
• Reporting any supply / material issues to Production Manager

THE FOLLOWING ARE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE :

• Proven experience as a Mould Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
• Accuracy and eye for detail
• Good team player skills
