Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4 / 5) to join our dynamic Supplier Management Risk Management and Internal Governance team.
This is a motivated team that works together to solve complicated supply chain problems and enables process compliance within BGS Supply Chain. You will contribute as a team member alongside subject matter experts in the field of supply chain, supplier finance, data analysis, and process development and planning. This position requires someone who has a strong financial background and can work collaboratively with the procurement community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5 + years of experience with material cost management, supply chain analysis, supply chain management or finance.
  • 5 + years of experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
  • 5 + years of experience presenting to senior leadership and internal/external customers.
  • 5 + years teaching/mentoring others.
  • 5 + years of experience with program and project management.
  • Independently manage multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects.
  • Experience with risk identification and mitigation plans.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 10 + years of experience with material cost management, supply chain analysis, supply chain management or finance.
  • 10 + years of experience in using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
  • 10 + years of experience presenting to senior leadership and internal/external customers.
  • 10 + years teaching/mentoring others.
  • 10 + years of experience with program and project management.
  • Independently manage multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects.
  • Experience with risk identification and mitigation plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience participating in project analysis across multiple functions and business units

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.)
    Typical Education & Experience (Senior) :
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years’ related work experience, 19 years’ related work experience, etc.)

    Summary pay range (Experienced): $95,200 - $138,000
    Summary pay range (Senior): $117,300 - $170,200

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and oversees the development and deployment of mitigation plans for distressed suppliers
  • Works with internal stakeholders & functions (Enterprise Credit Risk, Supply Chain, Law Department, Finance, Program, BDS, BCA and others) to identify and evaluate warnings of supplier distress and supply chain impacts
  • Investigate, review, and analyze data, including financial information, debt levels, ownership structure, client base and products, inventory, and other external data
  • Perform contract review of key terms and conditions to determine rights and remedies and potential exit strategies
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and recommendations, and communicate impacts and recommendations at all levels
  • Ensure alignment across various functions & ad hoc activities related to financial risk monitoring and mitigation
  • Create standard processes, tracking system, and develop metrics
