We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Part Time Front of House and Bar Person to join our team at Coocktails & Steaks located in Uddingston.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in serving in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Bartending and barista skills are also required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, ensuring efficient service during busy times.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required working 16-20hrs per week
  • Enthusiasm to learn about our menu offerings and provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile, creating a positive first impression of our restaurant.
  • Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences or restrictions.
  • Take accurate and detailed food and drinks orders, entering them efficiently into the POS system.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails with care in a fast paced environment, paying attention to presentation and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and knowledgeably to guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and help guide guests with your knowledge of different cuts of steak and how they are cooked.
  • Maintain a clean and organised dining area, set up tables, and assist with cleaning duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately, following proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu updates and service techniques.
