ABOUT YOU

We are looking for dedicated, empathetic and resilient professionals with experience in providing high care for clients. As an adaptable person, you’ll enjoy getting to work across different areas, meet a variety of clients, whilst keeping the quality of support strong and consistent.

You need to have:

  • Open availability from Thursday to Monday, including late night finishes
  • Willingness to travel, possibly up to 50km
  • Previous experience with spinal injuries, nursing, aged care or disability support
  • Willingness to be training to the highest level through our experienced team

Successful candidates will hold:

  • A valid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
  • A smartphone device
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card and/or Working with Children card, or willingness to apply
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module, or willingness to complete
Responsibilities

Working in our Flexible Support Team, you will be joining our Complex Care team and supporting clients with high needs to help them live independently in their own homes. You will work under the guidance, support and instruction of our Key Workers and Community Nurse Clinicians.

Your key duties will involve:

  • Providing Personal Support to clients with a spinal injury, combined with other complex health, medical or aged care needs.
  • Providing ventilated care and support
  • Toileting, Bladder and Bowel Management, including Catheter and STOMA Care Management
  • PEG meal supplements and Feeding
  • Passive exercises and in-home rehabilitation exercise programs
  • Assistance with medication and basic wound care management
