Description

We are looking for experienced phlebotomists to expand our trusted team due to ongoing contracts and potential new opportunities, UK wide, but particularly in the Cambridgeshire area on an ad hoc basis.
This role is ideal if you are already working in the NHS, a surgery, or hospital (part-time), or are self-employed and looking to take on flexible additional hours.

  • Self-employed, ad hoc basis
  • No set days or guaranteed hours – work is offered as it becomes available

  • Work involves visits to clients/patients in their homes

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified and trained in venepuncture (predominantly the Vacutainer system)
  • Minimum 4 years’ phlebotomy experience
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Own professional insurance (guidance available)
  • Up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate
  • Safeguarding Level 2 (3 preferable)

Desirable

  • Experience working within the NHS, Blood Service, GP surgeries, etc.
  • Experience with children and/or patients with SEN/additional needs

As a CQC-registered company, you would be covered under our CQC registration for our work only, in line with new legislation.
