POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Warehouse Operative specialising in order picking and despatching, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking items from our warehouse shelves according to order specifications and preparing them for shipping along with other ad-hoc tasks.
Hours: 14:00pm to 23:30pm with 40 minute unpaid break.
Hourly Rate: Competitive with unsociable hours allowance and overtime available at an enhanced rate.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in a pick and despatch warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
• Working hours flexibility dependant on business needs.

• Accurately pick items from designated locations within the warehouse based on mobile device instructions.
• Ensure that picked items are of the correct quantity, size, and quality, and report any discrepancies to management.
• Properly package and label picked items for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Adhere to set KPI targets and take personal responsibility for these.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
