JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chefs to join our culinary team for a new store in Southend-on-sea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining food safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work varied shift patterns between the hours of 10:30am - 3am, Monday to Sunday
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and specifications.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Supervise kitchen staff and provide training on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Help manage kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring efficiency and quality in meal preparation.
