JOB SUMMARY

Pizza Buddies is seeking a passionate and skilled Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in the full Neapolitan pizza-making process, including dough handling, stretching, topping, and baking at a consistently high standard. Mastery of these techniques is mandatory, as quality and authenticity are central to our brand.
As a live catering company specialising in events, festivals, and private functions, Pizza Buddies requires a chef who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. You will be working across a variety of locations in Leicester and the wider area, preparing pizzas in a mobile setup while delivering an excellent food experience for our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a team that brings people together through authentic, high-quality pizza.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef), specialising in Neapolitan-style pizza.
• Strong dough-handling skills, including tray extraction and stretching.
• Ability to work confidently with high-temperature ovens under time pressure.
• Previous experience working in mobile catering, restaurants, or festival environments preferred.
• A genuine passion for pizza-making, with attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple Leicester-based event locations.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
  Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe food preparation environment in line with food safety standards.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, representing Pizza Buddies at events.
