Our projects include custom homes, renovations, small to medium commercial projects and maintenance of plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential plumbing.
• Positive and professional attitude
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair work
• Ability to interpret blueprints and building codes
• Effective communication with project managers, clients, and on-site trades
• Experience with gas fitting (asset)
• Physically able to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Backflow Certification (asset)
• Registered Journeyperson Plumbing Certification and License in BC (asset)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Plumber at SMR Plumbing & Heating. The Plumber will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate must have experience interpreting blueprints and plumbing codes to effectively select, install, and maintain plumbing systems.
The Plumber will be expected to maintain clear communication with the project manager and clients, and to work on a variety of projects including new construction, renovations, and routine maintenance.
