Description Location: Fort Payne, AL Ally Psychiatry is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient team in Fort Payne, Alabama. Position Details: Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day Setting: Outpatient clinic Population: Child and Adolescent focus Support: Strong administrative and clinical support staff Experienced with DEA preferred PA with CAQ in Psych welcome Experience with Children greatly preferred. Requirements Requirements Qualifications: PMHNP with experience in outpatient psychiatry DEA license preferred Passion for working with children and adolescents Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting Must possess an AL State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses. Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will join a growing outpatient team focusing on providing mental health care to children and adolescents three days per week. Responsibilities include utilizing knowledge in advanced pathophysiology, assessment, and pharmacology to deliver care within a clinical setting.
