Description

Prima Systems (SE) Ltd have become synonymous with the installation of high quality glazing & cladding products within the construction industry. Due to continued growth and success we are currently looking to employ an experienced Project Coordinator / Administrator
The role will involve working alongside both the project manager and site supervisor undertaking the coordination/administration duties on concurrent commercial window, door, and curtain walling installation projects from start to finish ensuring that they achieve perfect handover.
The candidate must work within set guidelines and procedures, and especially with the project management system.

The ideal candidate must;

  • Be well-organised and able to work in a structured way, especially when under pressure.
  • Have both numerate and literate skills
  • Be able to organise both direct installers and external sub-contractors
  • Have an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Be able to deliver a good quality project on time and within budget.
  • Have a personable, methodical and proactive approach with good attention to detail.

Role Overview;

  • Arranging & coordinating meetings for both project managers and site supervisors
  • Forming & updating project individual programmes
  • Collating drawings, paperwork, RAM’s etc to form the site installation folder
  • Obtaining prices from various suppliers
  • Placing material orders on behalf of Project Manager’s
  • Daily communication with site installation teams in regards to programme performance, site deliveries etc & update software accordingly.
  • Logging, tracking & chasing RFI’s issued to both clients & suppliers
  • Keep Project managers up to date with the progress of works on site
  • Collate all relevant documentation & drawings etc to form O & M Manuals
  • Scheduling resources to perform the works on numerous projects

Essential Skills;

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of administration, preferably within a construction based environment
  • English & Maths to a minimum GCSE C grade
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with engineers, suppliers & customers
  • Flexible, adaptable, full of enthusiasm and able to work proactively under their own initiative
  • Excellent and proven computer skills, including Word, Excel & project programming software
  • Reporting and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of project lifecycles would be advantageous

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
