Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join our team in Miami, FL, Coppell, TX, or O’Fallon, MO.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 6 years or more of related work experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Program Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in the Aerospace industry, supply chain or similar logistics/distribution industry.
  • Advanced Excel Skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Hardware, Fasteners, and/or Chemical product experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Admin, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.)
  • 1-2 Years of experience in Project Management activities & Tools (Project Scheduling, Planning, Execution / Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet or similar)
  • Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Enhancement of existing and implementation of new programs.
  • Maintain and create a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers.
  • Accountable for continuous improvement in customer program management tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers regarding customer specific strategy, and customer relationship management.
  • Responsible for consistent management and administration of contractual obligations.
  • Supports the program by coordinating program metrics.
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices.
  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues, developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
  • Maintain Pipeline Health.
  • Possess working knowledge of customer systemic issues and system functionality.
  • Train new employees.
  • Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding ordering and/or delivery of spare parts and provisioning products or related services.
  • Work with Planning to ensure customer forecasts are loaded/updated.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
