Progressive bio-engineering company has a position available for an EXPERIENCED QUALITY INSPECTOR required for the inspection of small to medium-sized precision machined parts.
Successful candidates will:
1. Be familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Systems and work to the Company’s Quality System and operating procedures
2. Be competent in programming and operating a Mitutoyo CMM or equivalent
3. Be able to visually inspect highly-polished parts
4. Have a good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

1. Be familiar in managing calibration systems

• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in their work and recognise the need for product quality and work to consistently high standards at all times.
• Good organisational skills, be methodical and have a very good eye for detail
• Remuneration: £28,000 pa
• Holidays: 28 days (incl stats) raising to 33 days in the 4th year
• Hours of work: 39 hours per week
