JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance techniques, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in security or loss prevention is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential.
• Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A valid driver’s licence may be required depending on the location of the role.

• Monitor premises through CCTV and other surveillance systems to prevent theft or vandalism.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures related to loss prevention and surveillance.
