Position Details We are seeking an Experienced Roofing Foreman (person) to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of our commercial roofing employees. This role involves leading a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects. Foster a positive and safe working environment and provide training to team members. Plan and coordinate daily activities for roofing projects, including resource allocation, material management, and personnel organization. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to safety and quality standards. Complete daily physical tasks to prevent leaks during roofing replacement projects. Among other responsibilities. Schedule Full time 8-10 hours shift Monday to Friday Overtime may be required. Requirements Minimum of three (3) years’ experience and knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, shingles, custom metal, concrete title, and asphalt roof systems. At least one (1) year experience in a supervisory or foreman role. A valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record, and reliable transportation. Proficient in the use of roofing tools and equipment. Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective and safe solutions. Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites and/or the shop in a timely manner. Proficient technology and written skills that allow for the use of a smartphone for required paperwork on Apps. Effective and professional communication skills, bilingual English Spanish is a plus! Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions, occasionally exposed to fumes, sharp materials, vibrations, or airborne particles. Working at significant heights and inclinations. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Standing, walking, climbing ladders through the workday on a regular basis, repetitive bending and/or kneeling on hard and/or sloped roof surfaces.
