Position: Commission Salesperson - Blinds and Drapery Specialist
Location: GTA
Job Type: Minimum wage plus commission
Overview: As a Commission Salesperson specializing in blinds and drapery, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to engage potential customers, understand their window treatment needs, and guide them towards selecting the perfect blinds and drapery solutions from our extensive product offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Consultation:
  • Conduct thorough consultations with customers to understand their preferences, style, and functional requirements for window treatments.
  • Provide expert advice on the selection of blinds, shades, and drapery based on the customer’s specific needs.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the blinds and drapery industry.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our product range, including features, benefits, and customization options.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Actively engage in lead generation and follow up on sales inquiries.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.

Quotation and Proposal:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for customers based on their chosen window treatments.
  • Present proposals professionally, ensuring customers understand the products and associated costs.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Provide post-sale support and address any customer concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the installation team to ensure a seamless and satisfactory customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to participate in promotional events and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in commission-based sales, preferably in the home improvement or interior design industry, is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of window treatment products, materials, and customization options is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Compensation: This position is minimum wage, plus commission.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
