About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly effective educator with proven primary experience. As an experienced Year 5/6 practitioner, you will bring deep curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management, and a passion for guiding senior primary students as they build independence and prepare for their secondary education pathways.

You will bring high expectations, energy, and a strong relational focus to your practice, blending structured curriculum approaches with innovative, high-engagement learning experiences tailored for our tamariki.

• Proven Senior Primary Expertise: Demonstrated success in teaching Year 5/6, with a deep understanding of senior primary curriculum levels, student agency, and higher-order thinking skills.
• Instructional Quality: A track record of high-leverage teaching practice combining structured literacy, numeracy, and engaging, purposeful learning design.
• Collaborative Mindset: A desire to work closely with syndicate colleagues sharing planning, co-constructing learning, and supporting a team culture where staff thrive together.
• Catholic Special Character: A commitment to actively upholding, modeling, and enriching our faith-filled Catholic character and the spiritual life of our school.
• Co-Curricular Energy: Enthusiasm to contribute to our wider school life sharing your strengths and interests through sport, EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom), culture, the arts, or student leadership initiatives.
