JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a server who has worked in the industry for a minimum 2-5 years, in a fast paced environment. Someone with loads of personality, who is fun, can think on their feet, likes good music and great local customers. Someone who can handle big and small tables with the same level of service, knows how to bartend and enjoys making a beautifully crafted cocktail as well as having a good knowledge of wine service. We are a locally owned restaurant that make beautiful from scratch sushi, Asian fusion fare and handcrafted cocktails as well as having an oyster bar. We are really just looking for the right fit. We offer competitive wages with room to grow.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST have alot of previous restaurant experience and a natural flair for serving.
  • Great customer service skills, can remember your regulars names and favorite items, drinks etc. a plus!
  • Knowledge of food safety and food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and being super cool in the midst of the storm.
  • Must be a great communicator with both FOH and BOH
  • Flexible for various shifts, but would also like a set schedule
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests, answer takeout calls and time them accordingly
  • Serve and handle tables like a boss.
  • Have in depth knowledge of our food and beverage menu
  • Have good taste in music
  • Assist in food preparation if needed to support kitchen staff, i.e. : squeezing fruit for bar juices etc.
  • Have proper table maintenance skills
  • Have a good working relationship with the kitchen, we have an open concept kitchen and we are all equal.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
  • Be available for weekend pre shift meetings to go over service
  • Have knowledge of menu so as to help customers with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
