Stefanos Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant in New Westminster seeking a dedicated and energetic Server for weekend shifts. Stefanos caters to families, couples and groups celebrating memorable moments. We also host a dine and dance every Friday and Saturday to live music. We are currently seeking a new front of house member to grow with our small, hardworking group. Bring your passion, strong work ethic and love of people to our team!

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is required.
  • Previous experience mixing drinks and knowledge of the bar is required.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and customer requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.

  • Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders while upselling additional items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Prepare your own beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using basic math skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and maintain communication during busy periods.
