Salary: £16 – £18 per hour (dependent on experience)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Fitter to join the team at Urban Facades Limited. We manufacture, supply, and install high-quality aluminium glazing systems and bespoke facade solutions across a range of commercial and residential projects.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Full UK driving licence
• Valid CSCS card
• NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration Installation or a relevant construction discipline
• Experience working on construction sites
• Ability to work away from home occasionally (expenses covered)
• IPAF 3A & 3B certification (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms)
• PASMA certification (Mobile Access Towers)

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS (ADVANTAGEOUS BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)

• CPCS certification
• Slinger/Signaller card
• Appointed Person qualification

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to carry out the installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows, and doors on-site. Candidates must be capable of managing installation works, coordinating with the main contractor, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows, doors, and associated systems
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Working collaboratively with site teams and management
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
• For the Foreman role: supervising and coordinating fitters on-site, liaising with contractors, ensuring project milestones are achieved
