Experienced Slate Roofers Wanted
We are looking for skilled slaters (gangs of 2–3 ideally) to join our team on projects in Corby, Grantham, and Mansfield, with more re-roofing / developments/sites coming soon. If you want good rates, weekly pay, and steady work with a long-established firm, we would like to hear from you.
About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Sorting and fitting natural slates and fibre cement slates to current standards.
• Working confidently with lead.
• Ensuring top-quality workmanship across a range of roof types.
• Opportunity to work with other materials such as clay tiles, concrete tiles, and Decra metal tiles.

What We are Looking For

• Proven slating experience (natural & fibre cement slates).
• Gang of two minimum, three desirable.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Must have own tools & transport (full UK driving licence required).
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices.
• NVQ or equivalent qualification in roofing (preferred but not essential).
• Reliability, professionalism, and pride in your work.

Pay & Benefits

• Price work with great rates:
• Natural slates: £25 – £35 per m² (depending on roof type).
• Fibre cement slates: £17 – £24 per m² (depending on roof type).
• Weekly payments direct to your account.
