What You’ll Work On Perform California smog inspections and smog-related repairs in compliance with BAR and state regulations Diagnose and repair check engine lights, emissions systems, and drivability concerns Complete repairs accurately the first time, protecting guest trust and vehicle safety Document inspections, findings, and repairs clearly and consistently Collaborate with service advisors to ensure transparent communication and smooth handoffs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with Audi standards How We Operate (Standards & Support) Consistent workflow with steady RO volume OEM diagnostic tools, updated equipment, and documented SOPs Strong parts processes to reduce delays Leadership that values quality, compliance, and follow-through A culture that respects your time, your craft, and your professionalism What It Takes Active California Smog Technician License (Inspection and/or Repair) Strong diagnostic skills, especially related to emissions and engine performance Prior dealership or professional automotive repair experience (Audi or European brand experience a plus) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record A quality-first mindset, attention to detail, and integrity in your work Compensation & Benefits Aggressive flat-rate pay based on experience and licensing with progressive pay plans: As your tenure increases and you complete more certifications, we’ll pay you more!
