Having grown from strength to strength, and now regarded as one of the leading traffic management companies in the UK, Centurion’s strategy for continued growth has created an opportunity for a Streetworks Noticing Co-ordinator to join an already well established team.
The role broadly involves the management of traffic management bookings, including the submissions of permits & Traffic Management applications from beginning to end. This includes; obtaining permission(s) from local authorities for temporary traffic management installations, submitting notices/permits for works within the highway, liaising with customers to ascertain their requirements, following the booking through to approval, any necessary follow-up notices and recording this information and any changes upon our bespoke database system.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS;

  • A Track record of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in submitting permits/notices for works on the highways
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience in a similar role

DESIRABLE SKILLS;

  • Knowledge of Streetworks legislation i.e. fines/charges and permitting guidelines
  • Experience of liaising with Local Authorities
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Traffic Management

Some of your Key duties:

  • Submission of permits via Symology, Street Manager & Aurora systems
  • Submission of Traffic Management Applications (TTRO’s, Traffic Light Forms etc.)
  • Submission of all relevant follow-up notices within the allotted timeframe (PAA to PA, Actual Start, Works End, Registration etc.)
  • Following up and progressing Streetworks permits & TM applications through to approval
  • Dealing with & responding to refusals, modification requests and queries
  • Achieving KPI Deadlines as set by your manager
  • Customer development - building relationships with customers
  • Customer and council liaison
  • Accurately updating the Company’s bespoke database syste
