Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their Spares Execution Team in Hazelwood, MO. This is a position supporting the proposal side of the business. This involves being responsible for lead time analysis and part verification for Commercial Derivative, Bomber/Fighter, Navy aircraft and DLA. The candidate will be supporting proposals for both US and International customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- 5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills
- 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules or solutions
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
- Experience with Manufacturing Build Plans, Bills of Material, Tooling, and Commodity Codes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in supplier management systems, and tools
- Experience with the following systems: REDARs, ACQ, SCARs, MS2, TAMs, BPP, NWP, PDRS
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Managing workload and monitoring queues in the ACQ System
- Update Standard Offer for Sale (SOFS) catalog lead times at least twice a year
- Support initiative to ensure Supply Chain Execution is involved in proposal lead times outside of ACQ
- Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
- Interacts with Senior management inside and outside of immediate organization.
- Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
- Participates and leads process improvement initiatives.
