JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate and experienced Sushi Chef to join our culinary team INSIDE THE TESCO SUPERSTORE BISHOPS STORTFORD . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Japanese cuisine and demonstrate exceptional culinary skills, particularly in sushi preparation. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi preparation.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations in the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is highly desirable.
