Your role We design, evaluate and communicate requirements to the organization so that our designers and developers have a solid foundation. The role involves understanding our processes for product development and ensuring that they are followed in our projects. The tasks may include but are not limited to: Drive the system work and coordinate collaboration with the stakeholders. Adapt Saab’s processes and lifecycle model, including reviews and decision points, for the specific development needs. Manage system requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability to verification and validation. Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers. Ensure that reviews of the system-of-interest are performed according to plans and requirements. Contributing to the improvement of systems engineering practices and standards. Your workplace is at our site Solna strand and you will be part of the Systems Engineering department which consists of system engineers in various roles. Due to business requirements, this role requires regular presence at the office. Your Profile As a person, you have an interest in development of high-tech products and have confidence within the systems engineering domain. We believe that you have a collaborative mindset and a curious and positive approach that engage others. To succeed as a systems engineer, we would like you to have: M.Sc. in engineering. At least 5 years working experience from systems engineering in industry. Systems engineering-experience from working in all phases of the product's life cycle. Confidence in self-management and ability to communicate with different stakeholders. Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and able to understand spoken Swedish in a professional environment. Other appreciated qualifications: Experience in engineering fields like Hardware Development, Embedded Development, System Integration & Verification, Radio Frequency or Radar. Interest and experience of for example INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 or similar. Experience of MBSE. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
