We are looking for an Experienced Technical Writer to join our team and provide professional technical documentation for our partner in the telecommunication field.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc/MSc degree in a relevant field (e.g. English Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms (e.g. Dita, Confluence, Jira)
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile environment
• Good multitasking ability and independent problem-solving skills
• Strong research and analytical skills

ABOUT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL:

As an Experienced Technical Writer, you will take on a core role in our documentation team, working closely with cross-functional teams to capture and articulate complex technical information. The ideal candidate is also a strategic thinker who can contribute to the continuous improvement of our documentation processes. Working as a consultant, you will be in an international work environment and be based in our Budapest office.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR TASKS AS AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL WRITER?

• Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, manuals, and release notes.
• Publish internal and external customer product information libraries.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to understand intricate technical concepts and translate them into clear, accessible documentation.
• Work closely with product development teams to stay ahead of product updates and changes, proactively updating documentation accordingly.
• Implement and enforce documentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Mentor and guide junior technical writers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the documentation team.
• Have an interest in cutting edge AI solutions for product information so you can actively contribute to our innovative solutions for the clients
