The Care Company is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated, and highly organized Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to support an adult home care client. Join our dedicated team and help make a meaningful difference in a client’s daily life.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must own vehicle and have a valid driver’s licence (not required) as client’s home is not accessible via transit
  • Negative TB Test completed within the last year
  • CNO Registration and nursing Certificate
  • COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
  • Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed
  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to careExperience in home health care is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care as outlined in the client’s care plan.
  • Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, and linen changes.
  • Provide safe and proper support for transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises.
  • Ensure the client’s safety by using equipment properly and responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care activities.
  • Function within the limits of experience, knowledge, and scope of nursing practice to deliver competent care.
