That means having the best people, projects and clients, and providing the best service, solutions and advice.                                                                                    We’re looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our Planning and Mobility (PAM) team in our Perth office. Our PAM team is a committed group of professionals with skills covering transport planning; traffic engineering and transport modelling. We work on the most exciting, high profile transport projects in Perth, Australia and South East Asia. With a long pipeline of work, this role provides the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting transport projects in the region, from Activity Centres and integrated transport strategies, to public transport, pedestrians and cycling.     Our ideal candidate will bring:    * Bachelor or Masters in Planning, Geography, Engineering or other relevant degree * Experience working with WA Local and State government clients, especially in multi-modal, public transport and active transport projects * Experience conducting spatial analysis and creating maps in QGIS or ArcGIS, and using data to provide an evidence base for planning * Experience in preparing and delivering stakeholder workshops * Strong technical report writing and preparation of transport planning graphics in Adobe Illustrator or similar * Exposure to project management   You will also be required to:    * Identify new business opportunities and deliver projects direct to the client in an effective and timely manner.  * Prepare high quality winning proposals and write quality technical reports. * Provide technical rigour to studies including data analysis. * Aid in the development of more junior planners and distribute work to the team where necessary.   At WSP, you'll be part of a supportive organisation that encourages continued development through structured technical/management training, global and local practice networks and wellbeing programs.
