This is a residential role based in the Parkes local area, working a balanced 7-on, 7-off roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the time to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high-performing underground team.
About the role
The current sub-level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining. Following this, Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade. Reporting to the Underground Mining Coordinator, this role is essential to the smooth operation of our underground development activities. You’ll be responsible for safely operating underground dump trucks and supporting haulage operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Operate underground dump trucks safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
Support additional tasks as required to keep operations running smoothly.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors and stakeholders to ensure seamless haulage coordination.
Uphold Evolution’s health, safety, and security standards—actively identifying risks and promoting a safe work culture.
Demonstrate behaviours that reflect Evolution Mining’s values every day.
