Our hours of operation are: Monday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Tuesday: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm Wednesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm To learn more about us, click here: Inwood Animal Clinic *Part-time or Full-time position available Job Description What You’ll Do: Veterinary Assistant/ Pharmacy Tech Safely and confidently restrain dogs (including large breeds) and cats, even the more “spirited” ones. Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments. Support the pharmacy team by preparing and filling medications, maintaining inventory, and becoming familiar with common veterinary medications and protocols. Help ensure prescriptions are accurately labeled and ready for client pick-up while following clinic safety procedures. Keep the clinic organized, clean, and running smoothly. Arrive on time and be dependable—our patients (and team!) count on you. Be open to jumping in and helping with other tasks as needed. Educating and communicating with clients on basic pet care in person and on the phone. Strong client communication. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting preferred (1–2 years ideal). Ideally enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program. Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments. Strong attention to detail, especially when assisting with medications and pharmacy support tasks. Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Comfortable working around the occasional strong odors and noises that come with caring for animals.
