Training will be provided for all aspects of this position, but prior urgent care/ specialty experience is preferred. Location: In person at 42 Alpha Drive, Newtown Square, PA, 19073 Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Shifts currently available Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM, with hospital hours expanding to seven days per week as caseload allows. Education: High school or equivalent, Certified Veterinary Technician preferred Veterinary Experience: 2 year minimum Salary: $24-28/hour, based on qualifications and experience, with opportunities for regular salary increases as you grow in your role and advance your skills. Responsibilities: · Obtain a thorough history from pet owners · Assess if a patient is stable and obtain vitals accurately · Assist veterinarians in routine examinations and procedures · Administer medications, anesthesia, and monitor patients · Collect and perform in hospital laboratory tests, including bloodwork · Prep and maintain sterile technique for procedures and instruments · Position pets for radiographs and obtain images with correct technique while following radiation safety · Educate pet owners on diagnosis, care, and post-treatment instructions · Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care · Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment Benefits: No non-compete Generous stipend towards health, dental, and vision insurance 401K Paid closed holidays PTO above the national standard with additional time accrued each year of employment (and we actually want you to use it!) Responsibilities
