Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Volkswagen Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with Volkswagen Commercial Experience.
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- Confident with replacing Cambelts & water pumps, Clutches & Flywheels.
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure roadworthiness
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work undertaken
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or a related field
- Clean and tidy work stations
