Job Description Ingram Marine Group is seeking an Experienced Welder for our team in East Carondelet, Illinois. Whether you are a Certified Welder, or just starting, we will invest in your training and development for the next level. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Ingram's fleet of barges and boats. We operate in an environment where flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks, and responsibilities keep things interesting! What you'll be doing: Wire and stick welding Cutting/Fitting Operating forklift Operating hydraulic crane Inspecting and pumping barges Route dock clean up Other duties as requested Qualifications What we’re looking for: Demonstration of the Ingram Way Ability to uphold Ingram’s high safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Demonstration of critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to demonstrate teamwork and acceptance of diversity Strong communication skills with all levels within the organization Candidates must: Possess a High School Diploma or GED Possess a valid driver’s license Display excellent communication skills Can walk and lift for extended periods Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis Must be able to read and write the English language to comply with USCG regulatory requirements Additional Information Monday-Friday 7-3:30 (winter hours) 6-2:30 (summer hours) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
