Description

MANDATE:

To be an integral part of Embr’s XM division, helping to develop and execute fun and creative brand experiences for consumers across the country. The XM team is comprised of young and driven individuals who strive to create unique and memorable brand activations for some of Canada’s most prestigious alcohol brands. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects from concept ideation to event planning & development, in-field management, and everything in between.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of industry experience (preferably at an XM agency)
  • University or College degree in relevant field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (English written and verbal)
  • Familiarity working with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel & Word
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage work against project timelines
  • Resourceful and possess the ability to problem-solve and trouble shoot
  • Expert multi-tasker, strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • A hustler who takes ownership for their work
  • Experience as a team lead/event staff/brand ambassador or related in-field work
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry considered a strong asset

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid G driver’s licence
  • Smart Serve & Food Handlers Certification both considered assets
  • French speaking (bilingual) also considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Identify trends in the world of Experiential Marketing & Sponsorship
  • Support the account management team across all XM project executions - from program conceptualization to project planning, staffing, creative, asset sourcing, budget management, and post campaign reporting
  • Work closely with the XM team to ideate and develop new and innovative activation concepts
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and management of Embr Brand Ambassadors (in-field execution teams)
  • Source, develop and help foster great relationships with relevant suppliers, event properties and other valuable industry stakeholders & partners
  • Develop client facing workback schedules, proposal decks and post- program reports in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Play a leadership role in-field, assisting with activation set up, live execution & tear down – be the face of the client on site and ensure events run flawlessly
