Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree and experience
- Minimum 10-15 years overall work experience in context of middleware technologies
- Minimum 5 years demonstrating technical leadership qualities and/or overseeing deliverables
- Extensive background in Middleware technologies
- Excellent knowledge of best practices and latest technology trends
- Excellent infrastructure knowledge
- Understanding of ITIL processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Project delivery skills (solid understanding of Project Management or equivalent experience)
- Process driven and able to turn strategy into tactical actionable tasks
- Creativity and strong analytic skills

Responsibilities:
In its day-to-day core operations, the Expert Middleware is the safeguard of the systems while innovating and improving support efficiency.
- Define documents, communicate and enforce guidelines, standards and best practices
- Provide direction and governance
- Lead initiatives related to automation, optimization and process improvements
- Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems including all system inter-connections
- Monitor and maintain system availability and performance
- Define preventive maintenance tasks for system health and ensure vendor recommendations are in place
- Engage with team to define, design and implement suitable automated processes to optimise the day-to-day support activities
- Lead problem investigation and follow-up resolution
- Review root cause analysis documents and ensure actions taken to reduce future occurrences
- Vendor relationship
- Perform impact analysis for upcoming changes and the introduction of new technologies
- Estimate the work effort required to deliver changes
- Insure solution delivery within allocated budget and approved timelines
- Support team by providing technical guidance and methodology in Assessment & Planning, Cost analysis, Testing, Deployment and Transition to Core
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate CN I&T standards (e.g. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, SOX, etc.)
- Define and implement high availability setup and maintain and improve disaster recovery procedure and scripts
- Design, integrate and document new technologies
- Guidance in the establishment of complex projects and programs
- Guidance on market trending and technology evolution
- Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of Middleware tools and new Middleware technologies for existing and future business needs
