We currently have a role available for an Expert Pharma Biochemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Characterizing protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions by a variety of methods including, but not limited to the following: Intact protein mass spectrometry, fluorescence spectroscopy, SPR, BLI, and DSF.
  • Biophysically characterizing protein samples destined for multiple workflows.
  • Using proprietary biophysical tools to interrogate protein ligand interactions to triage or advance compound series.
  • Developing assays and utilizing SPR/BLI (e.g. Biacore or Octet) or MST/TRIC (e.g. NanoTemper).

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 1-3 years of pharma laboratory experience outside of academia.
  • MS with 5+ years of experience will also be considered.
  • Thorough understanding of the theory of above-mentioned techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both within a team and as an individual.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
